Corporate Director of Training and Development
As Corporate Director of Training and Development for Lodging Hospitality Management, Anne Conway strives for continuous growth and development of associates through means of training programs tailored to each property in the LHM family. She focuses on the development of the company as a whole through means of identifying and training on LHM Best Practices, overseeing and identifying areas of strength and improvement for each property’s guest service scores and recognizing outstanding associates. Conway is certified to facilitate guest service programs for every brand in the LHM portfolio, and is responsible for the development and implementation of LHM’s service culture and leadership initiatives.
Conway gained experience and passion working in the hospitality field while in her family’s restaurants and later in hotels as a manager in the food and beverage discipline as well as the front office. Her love for working with associates drew her to the field of training. As a Property Service Culture Trainer for Sheraton and Four Points by Sheraton, Conway was awarded Starwood’s PSCT Outstanding Achievement award. As a 10-year certified TIPS Trainer, she teaches responsible alcohol service techniques to all Food and Beverage associates.
Conway graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from University of Missouri and holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Washington University in St. Louis. She is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the HR Certification Institute. She is the current President and Treasurer of St. Louis Hospitality Human Resources Association.
