Sales Manager

Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff through effective oral and written communication while overseeing rate, date and space commitments for group room sales within the hotel. Compiles and/or directs the preparation of reports pertaining to the operation of the Sales, Front Office, and Housekeeping Departments. Supervise the development and implementation of departmental business plans, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts.  Monitor period to date status of sales goals, implement contingency plans and revise reports as necessary. Develop and conduct persuasive verbal and written sales presentations to prospective clients. Conduct property site inspections with potential large groups.  Internally promote LHM marketing programs.  Meet with and entertain clients, requiring some travel. Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for development of new marketing strategies. Make reasonable recommendations to improve potential from various markets. Work closely with the Reservations Manager to determine the proper selling and control strategy of room sales for the hotel. Organize and/or attend scheduled Sales Department and related meetings. Train and develop Sales staff, conduct meaningful performance reviews for the Management Team in the Sales office. Ensure training programs are conducted regularly and LHM’s standards of performance are met.  Give guidance and counsel staff toward improvement.

Human Resource Manager

  1. Direct and instruct the management staff in effective recruiting and interviewing techniques using methods such as verbal presentations and written directions to ensure the hiring and retention of qualified and efficient employees. Conduct full and/or screening interviews for all positions.
  2. Enroll employee development by controlling the implementation, administration and monitoring of all training programs. Instruct training classes, analyze and review current and proposed methods, consult with and make recommendations to the management staff for improvement.
  3. Monitor employee performance appraisal programs to ensure reviews are timely. Read and analyze evaluations and goals to ensure appraisal comments are appropriate and goals are achievable.  Direct and administer employee relations programs such as employee recognition and service award ceremonies, as well as general hotel meetings to maintain positive employee morale.
  4. Develop, implement and administer policies and programs related to the management of all hotel personnel to ensure the maintenance of a positive and productive employment environment. Monitor same for fair and consistent application.
  5. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal labor laws and regulations, implement new procedures as required. Supervise Affirmative Action program.
  6. Provide assistance, guidance and counseling to the General Manager, management staff and line employees in order to maximize the quality and professionalism of the hotel staff by listening and interpreting concerns and objectives and seeking solutions.
  7. Control the administration of wages and benefits to ensure the accurate and equitable application of same, conduct annual wage scale survey and recommend necessary changes to keep our property competitive.
  8. Review and appraise all personnel changes and paperwork for merit and accuracy. Approve all required Human Resource forms.

Food & Beverage Supervisor

  1. Ensure that meals are being served in a professional and timely manner by circulating within the outlets and communicating with the kitchen and the order takers. Handle guest complaints.  Monitor and supervise set up and maintenance of room service area to ensure that it is up to standard.
  2. Ensure availability of manpower, supplies, and equipment to ensure positive guest experience. Assist in hiring, scheduling, supervision and control of cashiers, supervisors, greeters, servers and bus attendants.
  3. Attend pre-meal meetings and conduct ongoing training of employees to ensure that employees continue to improve their performance.
  4. Assist in the completion of reports on production and necessary requisitions. Assist in regulation of distribution of necessary supplies.


Sous Chef

Assists the Executive Chef in directing food preparation, presentation and control for all the food outlets and banquet facilities at the hotel.  Responsible for enhancing the food product that is presented to the guests.  Assist in developing new products.


Responsible for maintaining quality of food product and ensuring consistency in food delivery and standards.

At least 1 year of Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook experience required.


Degree from Culinary program preferred.

Executive Lounge Bartender (Concierge )

  1. Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the Food and Beverage department as per guest occupancy.
  2. Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality using product dating and FIFO method
  3. Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, addresses the guest by name always, by utilizing 4Core. Promotes and upsells food and liquor with every guest. Mixes garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes pouring liquor, beer, and wine to Marriott Standards.
  4. Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest. Maintains an accurate record of all beverage items served.
  5. Processes cash, credit cards and/or voucher transactions, makes change as needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and insures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all monies.
  6. Stores and secures all beverage, food and other equipment, deposits cash and vouchers, drops and secures bank.
  7. Maintains and promotes a clean, sanitized, debris free work area and practices the “Clean as you go” method
  8. Checks identification to verify age requirements to purchase alcohol
  9. Provides guidance and insight to guests about hotel, history, and LAK (Local area knowledge)

Executive Lounge Sever (Concierge Lounge)

  1. Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a clear, understandable speaking voice, exercise judgment, respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, directions to local attractions, or meeting rooms, car rentals and airline shuttle service, etc. according to individual needs.
  2. Promptly and courteously answer telephone calls, take and deliver guest messages as necessary, deliver mail, small packages and facsimiles. Requires continuous sitting, standing and movement throughout hotel.
  3. Using the telephone, verbally arrange and confirm recreation, business and dining activities both inside and outside the hotel. Promptly respond to requests for dentists, doctors, child care, florists, etc.
  4. Register VIP guests per prescribed registration procedures, either manually or through a Property Management System. Promote special marketing programs.
  5. Distribute printed materials such as brochures of local attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. Requires extending arms, bending and stooping to reach materials on display racks, in drawers or on shelves.
